NEW • Development Release: Hiweed Desktop 0.6 RC1 |
| This is a new development release of Hiweed Linux, a Chinese Linux distribution with XFce based on Debian GNU/Linux. New features: the Linux kernel was upgraded to 2.6.8, XFce to 4.2.0, xine, Xfmedia, and XMMS were replaced with MPlayer and Beep Media Player; a new Hiweed Desktop Control Center was added; the Hiweed Debian docs were updated; full input method on SCIM for simplified and traditional Chinese was added; included ALSA and Firefox 1.0 Chinese edition.
