| This is a "Special Edition" (SE) release of Mediainlinux, a Linux live CD designed for multimedia production: "Christmas gift from the Mediainlinux Team: download our Mediainlinux 3 Special Edition! Our distribution is now written from scratch (not based on Knoppix any more), depends on Debian Sid, and comes with GNOME 2.8 (which is the most wonderful Linux desktop ever made, in our opinion). Hurry up: this 'offer' is limited to the days which take us to 2005. Many many new features, from the bootsplash to real-time kernel. Please note that this is a highly experimental version.
