NEW • Development Release: SLAX 6.0.0 RC5 |
| The fifth release candidate of SLAX 6.0.0, a Slackware-based mini live CD, is available for download and testing: "This is SLAX 6 release candidate 5, including a few modules and 27 languages. SLAX 6 rc5 still includes Linux Kernel 2.6.21.5 and KDE 3.5.7. The Slackware base has been upgraded to Slackware 12.0. Klaptopdaemon has been recompiled in order to show the tray icon properly. SLAX now shutdowns properly, while it did reboot instead of shutdown in rc4. Removal of modules by using SLAX Module Manager is fixed, it did allow a busy aufs branch to be removed in rc4, which may cause troubles..."
